Canadian Operations

Field Aviation designs, modifies and certifies aircraft for specialized roles across the globe. Our expertise is the missionization of commercial platforms for search and rescue, intelligence, surveillance and interdiction roles for both government and civilian customers.

We also develop system specific STCs for many different aircraft. Our capabilities include build-to-print parts manufacturing for aircraft OEMs and our own modifications. We are also a factory authorized repair, overhaul and sales center for many avionics equipment manufacturers.

Field Aviation has appointed Derek Clarke to the position of manager, customer support, effective January 12th, 2015.

Based at Field Aviation's Toronto Pearson airport facility, Derek will report to Brian Love, chief commercial officer. Derek will be responsible for all aspects of Field Aviation's customer support activities, internal and external, and interface with OEM's, aircraft operators, equipment vendors and regulatory authorities.

Derek is a seasoned aviation professional with 20 years of experience in customer management and support, technical sales and marketing, aircraft development programs, manufacturing, engineering, certification and quality assurance.

"The hiring of a highly qualified and experienced person such as Derek Clarke to head the customer support group within Field Aviation is further evidence of Field Aviation's commitment to provide its customers and partners with nothing less than the highest level of responsive and thorough post delivery service," said Love. As a modification and manufacturing center of excellence, Field Aviation is recognized internationally for its design, engineering, integration and certification of kits and modifications designed to enhance the operational utilization of a wide range of commercial aircraft used primarily in special mission applications. Field Aviation also manufactures parts for both OEM and out-of-production aircraft and specializes in the reconfiguration of aircraft interiors on a variety of aircraft types and sizes.
